HRTC Lumley Cup

Congratulations to Maggie Gibbs and Simon Heywood for winning the Lumley Cup on Saturday!

The mixed doubles handicap tournament featured players from many clubs, with all matches played in a fantastic spirit and to a high standard.

Maggie and Simon came through a close group stage and then held off a strong come back to defeat defending champions Zuzana Botkova and Yuri Kugler 8/4 in a high quality final.

Thanks to everyone who took part in a great day of tennis at the club.
